Past Master Bro. Rankin Clarkson was Initiated into Lodge St. John No.540, Crossgates in 1985. and was master of the lodge in 2009-2010. Rankin took over the office of secretary in 2012, and was elected to Provincial Grand Committee in 2012. 

 

Rankin was given the office of Provincial Grand Secretary in 2017, and on Saturday 29th January 2022, at the Statutory Communication of Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross, he was awarded with his Grand Rank of Honorary Assistant Grand Secretary by Brother Stewart Quigley Provincial Grand Master. 

 

Rankin has now retired from both lodge and provincial secretary offices and is wearing, quote ‘’the biggest pair of slippers you’ve ever seen’’ unquote.

 

Rankin is also an honorary member of Lodge Camperdown No.317, Dundee
